Securely connect pipe with the MegaPressG carbon steel 90° elbow. Designed for use with ASTM Schedule 5 to 40 carbon steel pipe, this elbow allows for a 90° directional change in a run of pipe. Press connections make installing this carbon steel elbow quick and efficient. Unlike traditional pipe fittings, there's no need for calibration, flame or heavy equipment. Instead, Viega MegaPressG 90° elbows install in just four easy steps: cut the carbon steel pipe to length, remove any burrs and surface imperfections, measure and mark the fitting insertion depth, and use a press tool to connect the Viega MegaPressG 90° elbow for a secure connection. Smart Connect technology identifies unpressed connections during pressure testing to ensure proper connections the first time and eliminate callbacks. The first press fitting system approved for carbon steel pipes in gas and fuel oil applications, MegaPressG is well-suited to both new installations and retrofit projects in commercial and residential settings.
