It has a nominal diameter size of 4 inches, making it for use with 4 inch Ductile Iron. The Megalug comes in a pack that also includes a gasket along with the necessary nuts and bolts for proper installation. The megalug has a Ductile Iron construction which makes it an extremely durable accessory for piping systems and allows it to be buried underground if necessary. . Its main job is to provide restraint from any outside forces from the outside of the piping and to prevent separation of the pipe to the fitting.
